As smart as our bin-picking cell is, it should still be user-friendly.
For this reason, we will now take a look at the side of our feeder cell from which the worker operates it.
Via the door, which can also be designed as a bulkhead if space is tight,
the container in which the components are located is inserted.
The 22″ touchscreen can then be used to select the component variant and give the go-ahead for the process start.
The robot inside, in combination with the KEYENCE camera system, now begins to independently reach into the box and move the components from a chaotic to a defined position.
Minimum effort with maximum flexibility – that’s how it has to be!
After we already started to successively convert our vehicle fleet to hybrid drives a few years ago, the time has now come for our first facility to start generating its own electricity.
Many thanks to Solarzentrum Mittelhessen for the smooth process and the successful implementation of this project.
Surely this was not our last cooperation.
What is actually the great advantage of the cobot over a conventional industrial robot? In its simple programming, of course.
This essentially consists of two parts:
1. teaching the points that the cobot is to approach by means of manual guidance.
2. placing commands by means of drag-and-drop between the previously taught points on the mobile operating panel.
With our Cobot Welding System, programming new components is child’s play for anyone who is able to operate a smartphone.
We will be happy to provide the proof during a personal appointment at our company.
